World Rivers Day Founder Mark Angelo

In 1975 while paddling the Fraser River Mark Angelo imagined a world that included paying respect to rivers and the life they represent. Over many years and with the assistance of countless others, Mark’s dream eventually lead to the United Nations declairing World Rivers Day – one Canadian’s dream now celebrated in over 100 countries.
