Ducks Unlimited on Weeding Our Wetlands

Aquatic invasive plants are labeled invasive due to their highly disruptive impacts on wetlands, lakes and rivers. Thankfully, they’re on the radar of Ducks Unlimited. Work DU is undertaking in the Great Lakes Basin to protect coastal wetlands includes controlling the highly invasive aquatic plant, European water chestnut, and surveillance and monitoring along eastern Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.
