River Trap Up-Date
Peter Krahn is a retired professional chemical/environmental engineer and the inventor of the River Trap, a mobile floating selective harvesting pacific salmon weir fishing technology. The system is now in its 3rd iteration and being pilot tested by three First Nations communities. It’s not the first time we have had Peter on The Blue Fish Radio Show. This time Peter speaks with host Lawrence Gunther about his participation in the Public Fishery Alliance two-day Pacific salmon fishing issues awareness program for area MPs. Link below to get caught up with the development of this new exciting “River Trap” technology, it’s connection with marked selective fisheries and salmon hatcheries, and what the MPs had to say about it all on The Blue Fish Radio Show.
