Each year Blue Fish Canada volunteers attend and exhibit at outdoor and adventure shows throughout North America. There exhibits are known for the amazing free tools and advice handed out to visitors. From guides on how to be a steward of your favorite fishing hole, to shoreline clean-up kits and more, visitors walk away with the knowledge and the tools to become stronger stewards of their fisheries.

In addition to exhibiting, Lawrence Gunther, president of Blue fish Canada, is often asked to speak on stage to share his learnings and stories. Lawrence’s engaging style and humour keep audiences riveted. This year the theme of Lawrence’s presentation was the right tackle for the job.

It’s unrealistic to expect that a single fishing rod will serve well under all conditions. Bringing the right tool to the job means getting it done right. This means fish can be sustainably and successfully harvested.
